  • One of our favourites

This was our third stay at the Deddington Arms over the last few years so I guess we must like it here! My wife has some mobility problems nowadays so they kindly allocated us a ground floor room in the main building near reception, much appreciated. We were able to park very close to our room too.

As before we booked with the Travelzoo offer, so two nights for £99- per person B&B with £50- per room credit towards the first nights evening meal. The offer is now a little more expensive as you used to get the evening meal included on both nights, but you still get a ticket each to a local attraction. Blenheim, Warwick Castle etc. This time we did Bletchley Park.

Having said that I found that the evening meals had gone upmarket some since our last visit, they used to be very nice and now they are even nicer. The breakfast was very nice too.
The hotel is well situated for Peartree Park & Ride for Oxford and for touring the Cotswolds.
    It’s a great place..

  • Outstanding value

We fancied a couple of days away and found this hotel via a third party contacted hotel direct and got a better deal.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay dinner bed and breakfast both nights, Very nice room great meals (please bare in mind this is an old coaching inn from the 16th century so some of the rooms might be a bit unusual in there layout) but still highly recommended

  • One Night Stay for Friends Birthday Party

The Deddington Arms rooms are good with comfy beds and very clean. The Bar has a good atmosphere with pleasent decor. The restuarant is very pleasent with a reasonably priced menu and plenty of choice. Great for our one night stay and would certainly use it again. Situated in a beutiful little village with one of the best delicatessen’s ive ever been in.

  • Family atmosphere and always a welcomed stay

I stay at the Deddington Arms 2/3 times per month on business and have done for the last 6 months. It was a recommendation by a colleagues. When I asked why the Deddington, the reply was, it has everything you’ll need – and they were right!

When away from home you need to feel relaxed and part of the setting. The staff at the Deddington make sure this happens. The locals are the same, eager to strike up conversation and are always welcoming.

The setting is one of pure beauty in a really sought after area of the UK with many attractions within a short travelling distance. Free car parking on site.

The rooms are all different. Some have 4 poster beds, split levels, suites and annex. The only problem is the rooms are always warm! Great in the cooler months but not so great during the last couple of months with the heat. Fans are supplied but it is still warm. Air-con isn’t standard in all rooms.

The food is excellent. There is a good selection and I’ve never had a bad meal. The bar is stocked well and has local guest ales which change every other month. They have a monthly special which is always priced well, last month a T-bone steak with all the trimmings for £19.

The hotels success is apparent due to how busy it always seems. Whether it be business or pleasure I’d recommend staying. Its my first choice in and around the Banbury area
